Kevin and I (and Michayla!) are moved into our new house now. There has been a lof of craziness going on in the midst of it, but we are excited to be living here on this beautiful piece of property. I will tell you a little bit about it and hopefully in the next couple of days get some pictures posted. Sorry it has taken me so long, but with the transition our internet has been down. We are up and running now and ready to start updating you all more!
Our new house is set on a 27 acre lot, but we are only renting three acres of it (which is plenty to take care of!). There are two other houses on our property, with a couple of acres between each of the houses. Our house overlooks a little pond and a bunch of trees. It is a four bedroom, two and a half bath with a full basement, that is not finished, but nice. The house was actually an old farm house that the builder who lived in it before remodled. It has a garage that is detached. In the back of the house we have a stone porch with a fire pit, picnic table, our grill and then more trees. On the side of the trees is the infamous garden! Let's tallk about a garden. When Kev and I planted it I did not know what I was getting myself into. WOW~ It is huge now and lots of work. I try and spend at least a half hour a day on it, if not more! It is exciting, but boy a lot of work! :) On the property are a lot of woods (the guy who owns it just bought the land to hunt on). Amongst the woods are trails that we can go walking on. They are a lot of fun to walk on, but hard with a stroller. We carry Michayla a lot when we go walking. Anyway, that is about it. Overall the property is awesome! We love it here and are much more at peace here then in the city. It was time for us to get out of the city and just be able to breathe a little.
Speaking of the city, if you all think about it you can be praying that our house would sell. We had it under agreement and a settlement date set when we moved (otherwise we probably would not have moved!). Then two days before settlement the people backed out. This has been a very frustrating situation for both of us, but at the same time the Lord is continuing to give us peace about it. So, if you think about it, pray that it would sell quickly!
Well, there is much more going on in our lives, but it would take too long to write out. If you want to talk, feel free to call! I am available a lot during the days because Kev is at work. I would love to catch up with you all! Also, PLEASE feel free to come and visit! We have two spare bedrooms (for now...until the next little one comes along!). :) Kev and I love to have people stay with us. Ken and Beth Yoder are actually coming this weekend to hang out with us for a bit! We are totally pumped about that! Anyway...I love you all and look forward to hearing from you! :)
