So, our camera is having issues right now. Michayla's trip to her first movie...

So it is true, Kevin and I took Michayla to see her first movie. At first I thought when Jonathan and Janelle invited us to go along with them and Keziah that they were CRAZY! Who takes a one year old to a movie. Well...we do apparently. First of all, she didn't get a very good nap that day. Just maybe a half hour in the afternoon. On top of that she is going through a hard core teething stage again. (Yeah, we are up to six teeth!) So, I knew going into it that I probably would not really be able to watch the movie. (Oh, by the way, the movie we took her to was Horton Hears a Who) :) I was up for the challenge. We get into the theater just as the movie was starting. Of course, we had to get our popcorn first. We put Keziah and Michayla on the same seat and together they still could not keep the seat down. They were watching the movie with their feet about halfway in the air. Quite funny to see. :) So, at first we were good to go. She was sitting there with her friend Kez "watching" (I think she was more entertained by how big the screen was) and eating popcorn, like two little grown up kids. Then about fifteen minutes she decided she was done watching by herself...she wanted Mommy and Daddy. :) So, Kev and I took turns holding her for the rest of the movie and of course continuing to stuff her with popcorn. What a great time. She did great until about the last fifteen minutes. Then it was moms time to get up and walk around with her and keep her entertained. Overall, I think Kev and I had more fun watching our daughter at her first movie. Quite entertaining, and definetly worth the effort of taking a one year old to a movie!
