Is life slipping by...

BUSY BUSY BUSY! Sometimes I feel like life is getting away from me. I have been feeling very overwhelmed lately with just life. You know how sometimes you just want life to slow down so you can enjoy the moment that you are in? That is how I feel right now. I know that it is a choice to slow down, but I am not sure how to do it when I have so much going on.

Kevin and I went to New Bern, NC to visit some of our close friends and to help Ryan and Denise move down. We had an amazing time! Being with Matt and Naomi (and all the kids of course!) was so cool! Seriously I have not felt that at rest in a long time. Their property is AMAZING! They live right on the river on about (I think!) ten acres maybe. At least a lot of land! Kevin and I were able to take the jet ski out for a few minutes one day, which was a lot of fun! It was sad to say goodbye to everyone (ecspecially Ryan and Denise!), but we know that we are to be in Lancaster County for this season. It is one of those bitter sweet things, you know. Sad to see your friends go, but excited to be living in this season where you are. I know the Lord has good things for us in Lancaster County! Kevin and I are excited to be here for such a time as this!

Well...we are off again. Tomorrow we are heading back to NC, but a different part. Kevin's parents are taking us to a conference put on by Door of Hope. I think this will be a relaxing time for Kevin and I and will give us quality time with his parents. After the conference we are heading to SC to visit some of our close friends, Jonathan and Janelle. We also get to see their new baby Mia Promise! I am really excited about this time away! Pray that we will come back refreshed and relaxed after the conference with new perspective on this season of life.

Michayla is getting SO big! She took three steps on her own for the first time this week. (With no encouragment from Mom and Dad!) It is so AWESOME to see her grow up. It is already going by so fast. I don't want this season to slip by without me cherishing the moments! She is such a precious little girl and we are so thankful to the Lord for choosing us to raise her!

Well...that is all for now. When we get back I will post pictures from our two vacations!

Love you all!

A long needed update!

Hey everyone! It has been awhile since I just posted an update on Kevin and I, so I thought this morning I would take some time to do that. Most of you I see or talk to, but some of you I don't. I hope that everyone is doing well and enjoying life. I know that Kevin and I are. This is an awesome season of our lives...although at times it is hard.

Let's start with Michayla. She is growing, growing, growing! It really is amazing how fast it goes. I feel like it is one of those things that people say will go fast and you don't believe them, until you go through it. :) She is standing on her own and can take steps if you are holding her hands. Crazy huh? We have a daughter that is almost walking! Even right now as I am writing she keeps grabbing the compter from me. :) She is "talking" by saying MaMa and DaDa. I left the other day with Kevin watching her and I guess she sat at the door saying MaMa MaMa until Kevin went and picked her up. It is times like these that I love. She is seriously so cute...unless she is teething. :) Yes, teething is really hard on me...She crys a lot on these days and I do get frustrated, but then we just go on drives. We have been doing a lot of these drives lately. :) She falls asleep and I drive to the silence. It is wonderful. We love her so much and she brings SOOOO much joy to our lives. Always making us laugh!

The business is doing really well. With the purchase of the deck business, we have changed the name from Clearview Roofing Inc. to Revolution Builders Inc. Now that we are doing more decks and remodeling jobs, we decided it was appropriate to switch the name. We are continuing to grow and move forward and get more vision. It is definitly exciting.

We are continuing to enjoy living on the farmette. We feel really blessed be this land and feel really at rest here. It is awesome having such a beautiful place.

Well, if you haven't heard, we got a dog! Yes, it is true, that I gave in and we now have a Golden Retriever named Molly Ann. She is so cute and we love her a lot. Kevin is in the process of building a beautiful dog pin out the back of our house. We will post pictures when he is finished with it.

Kevin, Michayla, and I are taking a couple of trips coming up. Our good friends Ryan and Denise are moving down to North Carolina, so we are going with them to help them move Oct. 19-23. We are excited, not to move them (because this is sad to see them go!), but to see our other friends down there. It should be a good time. We are also heading to South Carolina the beginning of Novemeber for a conference with Kevin's parents. We are going November 3-9. We are excited about this, because we feel that it will be a relazxing time. We are also excited to just be with his parents for a bit!

I think this is all for now. We love you all!
